Neddy Farrell resided at 3 Glenview Terrace Dunmore East for most of his life.

He was the original recorder of this book which we have placed on the

web site in his honour. In the book he has recorded the deaths of local

Dunmore East people from the 10/2/1971 , up to July 1995 when as you

can see he could no longer write very well.

Neddy Farrell worked as an Overseer with Waterford County Council for

most of his life. He was also a member of the old IRA and throughout his

life was a staunch republican.

Neddy Farrell is buried in Killea Church yard opposite the church bell on

the right hand side in the Spencer plot. He was buried with his mother

Mary (Minnie) Farrell who died in 1954.
