This album, Café Orchestra's third, is a reflection of and a dedication to the people and events that have shaped our last year. But more than anything else it is a celebration - enjoy!

Café Facts-
First up in the morning, D.F. P.C.
Last up in the morning, P.M. M.F.
Favourite pastimes, Scrabble, Reading, Writing, Gourmet food (any food),
Pint drinking, Good red wine (anything on the house).

Caféspeak -
Is there a nose on the gig - Do we get fed after the performance.
The CO - Café Orchestra.
SAT (same as that) - me too.
A Ruby - A Curry.
A Vibe - Anything emotionally fulfilling to Pat.

Evidence of foot-tapping, humming and breathing on this album adds further weight to the opinion that Café Orchestra are well and truly alive!

Macushla: Immortalised in the Neil Jordan movie, Michael Collins, the word itself is an Irish term of endearment, meaning My Dear or My Darling. Check out the Café Orchestra haircuts in the picture!
Wild and Free: A couple dancing unaccompanied on the St. Stephens Green Bandstand one cold winter's evening inspired this song.
Abraham's Blessing: Who was he and what was the blessing? - Tune in next gig!
Funny Red Car: The mode of transport used by Pat (description courtesy of Sorcha aged six).
Isle of Innisfree: Written by Dick's father in 1951, it became the theme tune to "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Paul reckons this is the camp fire mix! (love you Dad. D.F.)
Moon River: "Two drifters off to see the world, there's such a lot of world to see". Yeah! Count me in.
Tequila Tango: A liberal shot of tequila, a suitable partner and lose your inhibitions.
Tribute to Fritz: Pat captures that beautiful Fritz Chrysler mood. Dedicated to same.
Man of the Road: A song which touched a chord within us all. A little kindness goes a long way.
Blaze for Therèse: An epic in three parts - Red Rock was illuminated by bonfires and candle light as people gathered to remember and celebrate the life of someone very special. They danced, talked, cried and sang until dawn. (For Therèse and Cormac - Forever).
Blue Drag: One we always have a bit of fun with at live performances.
The Fall from Grace: The traditional Café Orchestra Irish connection to conclude.
